BUCKROUTE Hunting Map Analysis

AI hunting map analysis

Your map already knows where the deer are. We’ll show you.

Send us a map of your hunting land. We read the terrain, bedding cover, food, water, and wind — and send back exactly where to hang your tree stands, where to place your trail cameras, and the routes deer will travel to get there.

What lands in your inbox

Wind from:
Aerial view of a sample hunting property: harvested crop fields across the top, a large block of autumn timber below, and a creek drainage in the southeast corner
Stand Camera Bedding - -  predicted travel corridor ···  hunter access route

This sample is drawn on stock aerial photography for illustration. Real client maps are never shown on this site — yours is analyzed privately and delivered only to you.

The deliverable

Not a printout. A hunt plan.

Every analysis comes back as an annotated map plus a written plan in plain language — where to sit, when to sit there, what wind it needs, and how to get in without blowing the place up.

Stand placements, ranked

Your best two or three sits get named and ranked. The rest get an honest “don’t bother.” Each stand comes with the reasoning, not just a pin.

  • Best wind and winds to stay home on
  • Morning vs. evening, and which phase of the season
  • Entry and exit routes that keep your scent out of bedding

A camera plan that surveys, not guesses

Cameras placed on corridors and crossings tell you what’s actually using the property — and whether the stand plan is right. We place them where they answer a question.

  • Exact tree, height, and angle for each camera
  • Which crossings confirm the corridor — and which kill a bad stand early
  • Check schedule that doesn’t educate every deer on the place

Travel corridors & bedding, mapped

Deer don’t wander — they move between bed and food on the path of least resistance: saddles, benches, creek crossings, fence gaps, and the inside corners where two covers meet. We trace those routes across your map, mark the bedding areas you should never walk into, and show you the exits worth hunting. If the ground truth from your cameras disagrees with our read, the Full Property Analysis and Season Pass include a revision — the map should match the deer, not the other way around.

The method

What the analysis reads

The AI works the way an experienced hunter scouts from the truck — terrain first, then cover, then food — layered with elevation, satellite imagery, and seasonal wind patterns for your area. A human hunter reviews every map before it goes out.

01

Terrain funnels

Saddles, benches, ridge spines, and creek crossings concentrate movement. Deer take the easy grade — we find where the land forces them through a bow-range window.

02

Bedding cover

South-facing slopes, thick regeneration, cattail marsh, and isolated timber islands. We mark likely bedding and treat it as a no-go zone in the plan.

03

Food sources

Ag fields, oak flats dropping acorns, browse edges, and food plots — matched to the month, because October’s destination isn’t November’s.

04

Water & edges

Creeks, ponds, and the seams where field meets timber. Edge is where deer live; crossings and inside corners are where you intercept them.

05

Wind & thermals

Every stand gets a wind prescription using your area’s prevailing seasonal winds and the property’s slopes — including the morning and evening thermal pull in bottoms.

06

Pressure & access

Roads, houses, neighboring pressure, and your access points. The best stand on the map is worthless if you have to walk through bedding to reach it.

Process

How it works

1

Send your map

A screenshot or export from onX, HuntStand, Google Earth, or your county parcel map — plus your acreage, how you hunt, and what you’re after. The request form below builds the email for you.

2

We read the ground

Terrain, cover, food, water, and wind get layered over your map. Stands, cameras, corridors, and bedding are marked, then reviewed by a hunter before anything is finalized.

3

Hunt the plan

You get the annotated map and written plan by email — privately, only to you. Hang stands and cameras where the pins say, and let the first camera pull confirm the read.

Why these prices: a walk-through land consultation typically runs several hundred dollars before anyone marks a map. Ours is map-based and AI-assisted, so the same terrain read costs a fraction of that — priced for working hunters, not outfitters. Pay online with PayPal or Venmo using the buttons on your tier — the amount is preset to the tier price. With PayPal you can check out with a card as a guest if you don’t have an account; with Venmo, pay @Greg-Bedard right from the app. Then send the request form below with your map attached so we can match your payment to your property. If your acreage runs over your tier, we confirm the right one with you before starting. No surprises, no subscription.

Your honey hole stays yours

This page is public. Your land is not. A good spot takes years to find, and we treat your map like what it is — the location of that spot.

  • Your map, coordinates, and property details are  never shared, posted, or sold — to anyone, for any reason.
  • The sample on this page uses stock photography. Client land never appears in our marketing.
  • Your analysis is delivered only to the email you give us — no public link, no account feed.
  • Ask any time and we delete your maps and files from our system, and confirm it by email.
  • Nothing you type in the request form below leaves your device until you choose to send the email yourself.
  • We don’t hunt, lease, or tip off anyone about client ground. Ever.

Questions

Before you send a map

What exactly do I send you?

A screenshot or export of your property from onX Hunt, HuntStand, Google Earth, or your county’s parcel/GIS map — whatever you already use. Property lines help; a pin dropped at the property helps more. If all you have is an address or parcel ID, send that and we’ll pull the aerial ourselves.

Is my information really not shared?

Really. Your map and details go from your email to our analysis and back to your email. They are never posted, sold, used in examples, or shown to other clients. The only property displayed on this site is a stock-photo sample. You can also ask us to delete everything after delivery — many clients do.

Can AI actually predict where deer travel?

It predicts where deer should travel, based on the same terrain logic experienced hunters use — funnels, bedding, food, water, and least-resistance routes between them. It’s a strong first read, not a guarantee: that’s why every plan includes camera placements designed to confirm or correct it within the first two weeks, and why the Full Property Analysis and Season Pass include a revision once your photos come in.

How do I pay?

With PayPal or Venmo, using the pay buttons on your tier above — the amount is preset ($49, $129, or $249). With PayPal you can check out with a debit or credit card as a guest if you don’t have an account. With Venmo, the buttons open Venmo for @Greg-Bedard with the amount and tier already filled in — or just search @Greg-Bedard in the Venmo app. After paying, send the request form below with your map attached and mention that you’ve paid, so we can match the payment to your property and get started.

How fast do I get my analysis?

The Quick Look is delivered within 3 days; the Full Property Analysis within 48 hours; Season Pass updates land within 3 days of each check-in point. Rut-season rush (late October) can add a day — we’ll tell you before you pay, not after.

Does this work for leased land or public land?

Yes to both. Leased ground is most of what we analyze — the Full Property Analysis covers a typical lease, and the Season Pass keeps the plan current as the season changes. For public land, the same terrain read applies, with extra weight on pressure — we’ll favor the funnels other hunters walk past. Note your state in the request so seasonal wind and food timing match your area.

What if my property is bigger than 200 acres?

Send it anyway. The Full Property Analysis covers up to about 200 acres; larger ground is quoted before we start — usually the Full Plan price plus a modest per-hundred-acres fee, confirmed with you in writing first.
